FMC TYPER is a retro CRT typing trainer styled after an airliner flight management computer. Practice aviation words, whack tokens, and fly routes — all by touch-typing on a faithful 1:1 panel.
Which device is best?
The panel is rendered at real-unit scale on iPad Air 11". On larger iPads the
panel stays at its real-world size (with black margins) so key pitch always
matches the real instrument. iPhone works too, with a scaled-down panel —
great for a quick try.
Which panels are included?
Three: the classic green-screen B737 CDU, the A320 MCDU, and the E-JET MCDU.
Cycle them with RSK5 on the hub. High scores are tracked
separately per panel. On the A320 and E-JET there is no EXEC key — insert
with any LSK, just like the real FMS.
What are the WHACK-A-MOLE difficulties?
CAT I is a one-key tutorial (type the letter, no line-select needed).
CAT II is a taxiway-memo drill using real Incheon taxiway names — confirm
each entry with / and your notes chain up like a real clearance.
CAT III is the full game: type the token, hit its line-select key.
How does the RANKING work?
ROUTE RUN has Game Center leaderboards ranked by taps per minute (the E-JET
keyboard has its own board — its 6-column layout types differently). Open
them from RANKING> on the ROUTE RUN result page or in
SETTING. Signing in to Game Center is optional.
How do ads work?
Your first 3 rounds are ad-free, then a short ad appears every 3 completed
rounds. A single REMOVE ADS purchase (SETTING >
REMOVE ADS) removes them forever. Use
RESTORE PURCHASES on a new device.
What is FEVER?
Reach a 10 combo in WORD RAIN and words fire automatically the moment you
finish typing them. Erasing a letter ends it.
